i heart macro - last of the dahlias



Finally one of my favourite dahlias flowered, 2 days before we had our first frost...! Luckily it survived but I will have to lift it next week as we are apparently going to get snow in the next few weeks and if it is like last year we won't see the ground again until February!

  6. Beautiful intense color on that dahlia! I can't believe you can talk about snow on the ground from now until february so casually! I would be crying my eyes out! I don't want to see October end!
