Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter biscuits / cookies!

I made these last Saturday to take to a friend, they were good, possibly the best biscuits/cookies I have made!

This is how I made them, a mixture of a few recipes:

Ingredients:

125g butter
150g caster sugar
1 free range egg
0.5 tsp vanilla extract
175g plain flour
0.5 tsp baking powder
50g choc chips
50g crunchy peanut butter

Melt butter in pan
Stir in sugar
Beat egg and vanilla in bowl then stir into butter and sugar
Sift flour and baking powder and stir in
Stir in choc chips and peanut butter
Using a tablespoon measure, scoop the mix out of pan and plop on to tray
Stick in freezer for 5 mins
Cook at 190degC/375F/gas 5 for 10 mins or until just firm in the middle and lightly golden.
Leave to cool for a few mins before transferring on to rack.

Enjoy!

    1. Hi,
It will make 12 - 16 cookies depending on how generous you are scooping the mixture :)
