Thomas the Tank Engine Skirt!

This is the skirt I made for a little girl who is mad about Thomas but who's Mum likes her to be girly!

It is a double layer skirt with a simple elasticated waist. I made it in the same was as this skirt but made two skirts, one shorter than the other and sewed them together at the top before making the waistband.

If only little e would wear skirts (for longer than just to model them), I could have such a good time making lots of crazy ones like this:)

Off to play nurse now, little e has chicken pox!

  1. Looks fabulous!!! You've co-ordinated the two fabrics beautifully. Hope there's not too much scratching with the chicken pox.

  5. This is such a fun skirt! Great job at taking a traditionally "boy" print and making it into a girl's style--as mommy to a little tomboy, I just love this!!!

Lots of luck with the chicken pox--not fun! Hang in there :)
