Last weekend was spent wrestling what seemed like miles of fabric. The finished product was worth it though!
I wasn't sure how the wool tartan would be with the velvet (ish) fabric but it turned out great. It was a nerve wracking experience though, the wool tartan is the most expensive fabric I have ever worked with!

I love that Tartan, it's beautiful! Very Anta! Well done. I've made curtains twice (neither pairs full length) and had to make them at my mum's because I didn't have enough floor space to lay them out! We have very wide windows!
Lovely job! The tartan is just beautiful! we need new curtains for our lounge after our cats attacked them, but it never occured to me to make them ... another job to add to the list I think :)

ReplyDeleteIt is a Moon tartan, still made in the UK with british wool without the insane Anta price tags (still bloomin expensive though)!!
