Kirsten Kimono Top

I have had the free Kirsten Kimono top pattern by Maria Denmark downloaded for ages but have never made it. Partly because the fabric that I bought (on ebay) was from someones stash and looked like bandage material and partly because I was lazy!

This week I finally cracked and 2 hours later I had a top that is made of bandage material...! It is a bit crinkled here, it had been folded in the drawer, and the neck binding is not even - the fabric was fine to sew but awful to handle in narrow strips.

It looks ok, less bandage like than I had imagined but I am just waiting for a 'Mummy' comment from someone!
