Happy New Year!
I can't believe we are a week in to the New Year already. It has been a slow start around here, 2017 ended and 2018 has started in bit of a snotty, achy daze for me. I ended up with flu just before New Year and am still not 100% but we finally made it out for our New Years Day meal last night.
I am determined to start as I mean to continue with this little space on the internet though, it needs some life injected back into it. I wrote my first post exactly 7 years ago and used the blog as a creative outlet that morphed into a sewing blog. It has been a bit sparse for the last 3 years as life has been not so smooth sailing but hopefully I can keep it a bit more interesting this year, I like having it as a record of things if nothing else.
2017 was a good but stressful year. Those three keep my life incredibly busy. Life looking after a child with type one diabetes, a pre-teenage child , a 101 year old Granny, trying to run a small business, do another part time job and all the other things life involves has taken its toll on my sanity.
The small business side of life is hopefully going to get a bit smaller, I have stopped advertising my services and now am getting repeat and word of mouth business which suits me. It's not ideal as it means less income but I can handle that for less stress.
I don't really have any resolutions for 2018, I do need to relax more so hopefully my delayed start to Yoga with Adriene's 30 days of Yoga will kick start that! Now, off to do said yoga and procrastinate no more!
