i heart macro

We are away for the weekend so this is the only macro I have:


A cute wee thistle I spotted while at Story Book Glen in Aberdeenshire. I also spotted Ashley Jensen (Christina in Ugly Betty) when we were there but it would have been rude to take her photo!

    Your thistle is beautiful! I almost think that celebrities are disappointed if nobody takes their pictures, so it's not considered rude.

    I saw Storybook farm last year on someones Blog, that is such a wonderful place! I never knew about it in all the years I lived in Aberdeenshire! :-(

    Beautiful thistle! I remember scrambling around in a ditch in Melbourne on my wedding morning, picking thistles for the men to wear in their buttonholes! (Couldn't get them from the flower shop!!)
