The kids took themselves off outside and made a table today.

I did get them smaller nails after taking this photo, the 6 inch ones were a little large :)

30/52, 31/52 & 32/52

I am so far behind with these post so here goes:

Two weekends ago we went to Dryburgh Abbey for the day. It was not dry, in fact little e has renamed it wetburgh!






We had a picnic in torrential rain then the sun came out for about half an hour and then it started to rain again, the joys of summer in Scotland.

Last weekend was husbands birthday, we were waiting for news on a scan my Mum had on Saturday so the day was a bit subdued and lots of brio was played with.


 Today was little e's birthday, she had a great day!

little e decided to wear everyone's coat, not ideal when all you asked her to do was go brush her teeth....

Me Made May Days: 23 - 29

I can't believe Me Made May is almost over. Here are my outfits from the last week, sorry for all the phone pictures, busy week this week with not much time for photos!

Day 23: Wierd photo...

Me Made: Altered second hand top and unblogged floral trousers.

Also wearing: Clarks brogues that look awful but I was about to spend a day on a boat!



Day 24: I look awful and dressed about 30 years older than I am here... different tights and shoes might improve it...

Me Made: Bead spread circle skirt

Also wearing: Charity shop top and cardi and Clarks brogues that look awful. 


Day 25: Ridiculous grin today!

Me Made: Kirsten Kimono Top and trousers

Also wearing: Ancient Cardi and clogs.

Day 26: There were much better photos for today but this was the only one with crazy girl in it!!

Also wearing: Charity shop linen trousers, People Tree vest top, ancient cardi and vivobarefoot trainers.



Day 27: 

Me Made: Darling Ranges dress and Virginia leggings.

Also wearing: Charity shop cardi and clogs that were soon changed for boots when the hail stones started....


 Day 28: Wishful thinking that the weather might warm up just a little...

Also wearing: M&S Jeans and cardi not in photo.

 Day 28: Dressed for comfort and warmth - it was school sports day this morning!

Me Made: Renfrew that will be blogged next week (and will be joined by 3 others...!)

Also wearing: M&S Jeans and my favourite cardi, it is alpaca and feels like wearing a blanket. One of the benefits of having a Dad who travels to Peru for business once a year! Also vivobarefoot trainers. 
Next update will be the last for Me Made May 2015, I can't wait to compare last year with this year!

21/52 - A Day Trip on Paddle Steamer Waverly

We bought Mother In Law a Day Trip on the PS Waverly for her 60th birthday and yesterday was the day we went.

It was a lovely day to sail up the Clyde!



Trying to get a photo with this pair is impossible!


We went from the Glasgow Science Centre through the Kyles of Bute to Tighnabruaich

The narrows, that were very narrow in a big boat!

I now want to go on holiday somewhere on the west coast, if only the weather could be guaranteed to be like yesterday and the midges would disappear...!

Late again, never mind.

 The kids spent hours this weekend building a raised platform in the garden with husband while I hid in the house making trousers! Just as well I was inside really as they have been eaten alive by the midges.
