Craft Swap!

I took part in The House of Pinheiro's recent Craft Swap, it was my first time taking part in one and it was really quite exciting (maybe I don't get out enough...!).

I was paired with Kate who blogs/blogged here and after a few emails I bit the bullet and got making! The swap was nautical themed and I struggled a little but this is what I came up with...

A rosette corsage

Swarovski and Sterling Silver Earrings

A Bow Hairband

Some Nautical Charm stitch markers

I put all these things in a red with white polka dot makeup bag which I forgot to take a photo of then popped it in the post to start it's trip to the other side of the world!

A few days later the postman brought me a rather exciting parcel with an Australian postmark....

In it was a gorgeous pair of fingerless mitts (which have inspired me to start knitting my jumper, more on that another day),

some fab sticky labels to mark pages (it will make a change from using ripped post it notes) and a double ended crochet hook which I am excited to learn how to use!

Thanks Kate for a fab swap :)

Now, off to knit my jumper....

    1. Hi again - just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a Liebster award. In case you have already read my post, I stupidly managed to leave you off my original post, so it is now updated to include you (and Nessa). Huge apologies for the omission!
