i heart macro - Anticipation

I love Dahlias, they are definately my favourite flower. Mine have not done too well this year (Bugsy the bunny likes the tubers......) but this one is about to burst in to flower.

A couple of years ago I took these, one picture a day:






which means next week I will hopefully have a dahlia almost in full bloom!

  1. I have planted dahlias for the first time this year....and within hours the slugs had the most enormous feast on them...all I have left are stalks! pah! I will be better prepared next year ;o)

  4. I also love dahlia's and we have a hort park not to far from where I work and I take lots and lots of pictures of them :) I love the day by day photo you took! Stunning!
